Episode 141 - The One With the Wedding

This week, the boys convene to discuss Brandon's wedding and also TV and comics and holy shit Brandon got married on Friday HOLY SHIT

Ahem.  Congratulations all around.  Especially to James, who had hot dogs at his parents' house.

After the celebration subsides, they discuss some new TV series.  This night, they watched the second episode of Marry Me, the series from one of the Happy Endings guys and starring Casey Wilson, from Happy Endings, which reminds us all of something.  Ooh, I've got it!  Party Down.  The boys also discuss the tension that comes out of new TV sitcoms needing a high concept to get greenlit but often needing to jettison that concept almost immediately as the pilot is over, using Selfie, Mulaney and Black-ish as examples of differing levels of success.  They also appeal to the Dylan Todd demographic (admittedly, a fairly small group) by watching the pilot of Star Wars: Rebels, an animated series that has some fun ideas and less than great voice directing.

Then, they talk about comics or something.  The Wild's End is pretty good!
